The last of the photos from my family reunion I will upload. The minute I saw this thing when we pulled into the farm I knew I had to come back with my camera later for a picture of it, for the sheer fact that it was just so silly, tacky and awesome looking. I dubbed this little ceramic sculpture the "Chickenblob," and I couldn't stop laughing at it inside. The quality of the picture is not the greatest because the subject here is out of focus (digital camera previews lie about focus), but I included it for a few reasons. Firstly, it's worth putting up for showing where I got the idea for my new avatar. Secondly the humour factor. And finally, after a bit of consideration, the lack of focus on the Chickenblob was really how I kept staring at it; that is, not at it, but through it. It was hard to focus on just because of how daft it looked. Just imagine yourself sitting on the front porch of a farm-house, squaring off against this little thing on the railing in front of you.
