Artist's Comments

After a few months of working on this on and off through other distractions, it is done. I have been haphazzardly calling this my "masterpiece," but since I did not conceive the original concept, I can hardly claim that. Either way, it is probably one of my best pixel pieces to date, and I made extensive use of dithering, and it worked well I think.

Is it me, or do album covers look better in pixel art? Or maybe it is just the quality of work in CD Case 02 - The Division Bell by ~mr-pharand! Dithering done right is a beautiful thing. (Featured by `halfliquid)

looks real good, so you have drawn/pixelated this your own from beginning (white sheet) to the end?
Then wow, it is identic to the original.

btw. I would appreciate, if I could take a closer look, why is is so small?

Wonderful work, it almost doesn't look like pixel art at all. I can see how you managed to spend months on it. Dithering is a pain to make, but you did it very well.

That is PERFECT. I looove it - the heads are so good and the sky is soooo good and the tree on the horizon is soooooooo good. I have momentarily had my articulate vocabulary stolen for the moment. Wow, I could stare at this and marvel at it for hours...EXCELLENT STUFF. Fav!
